The Geographic Data Service attended the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2024 in Barcelona. Under the theme “Live Better,” SCEWC 2024 brought together over 25,771 attendees from more than 130 countries, featuring representatives from 850 cities and 1,150 exhibitors. The event showcased cutting-edge solutions aimed at making cities more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive. High-profile speakers like Ruha Benjamin and Majora Carter emphasised the role of technology in addressing social inequities and revitalising urban communities.
